New: Optional Project Donations in EduSourced

This new tool is designed to generate new revenue for your program by allowing project clients to give an optional gift when your projects conclude. We know from data spanning tens of thousands of projects that many project clients are thrilled with their projects and student teams, which is why we built this feature. To enable project donations, Admin users can navigate to Workspace Configuration > Monetization.

This new feature is independent of collecting project sponsorship fees in EduSourced, so you can enable one side of monetization or both. Even if you do not charge a sponsorship fee for projects, you can still use this optional donation feature.

The EduSourced project donations feature uses our modern credit card and ACH payment support, so project clients can participate with a single click. Additionally, the language used for your gift prompt email notification is fully customizable.

Prompt for Donations at End of Project

This feature includes two ways to prompt for a donation when a project ends. Either or both can be enabled:

  1. Email notification: aet your custom language (or use our default), and EduSourced generates an automatic email notification when you archive a project.
  2. In-app prompt: a banner displays in the EduSourced project, after it is archived, prompting the project client to donate a gift using a preset amount or a custom amount they enter.
